Captain Roger Chapin is a United States Coast Guard certified Captain, licensed and insured. He is a native Floridian and spent more than 40 years in Boca Grande, the last 25 as a part-time island resident. The Lady Grey is named after his daughter.
While he specializes in the waters around Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor, he has also spent considerable time boating the waters of the Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades National Park as well as in the Abacos, Bahamas.
“I love showing visitors the waters surrounding Boca Grande”, says Capt. Chapin. “I enjoy hearing about what type of experience each guest is looking for, whether that be sightseeing, fishing, shelling; then putting together a day to maximize that experience.”
