Lady Grey Charters, LLC specializes in near-shore fishing targeting grouper, snapper, sharks and more! We can and do target trout and snook, but the Lady Grey is NOT set up for typical shallow water fishing often associated with targeting redfish and snook. And while we don’t fish for tarpon, we’re more than happy to take you to the pass for a drift or two to see, “The World’s Greatest Tarpon Fishery”.
If looking for tarpon fishing or serious backcountry fishing, depending on the season, we might recommend another captain who specializes in that type of fishery.
If you want to catch a few fish, let the kids get a tug on their lines, then have lunch or go to a secluded island for shelling, the Lady Grey has your covered. We are perfectly set up for “family fishing” where kids and adults can catch fish together.
Our fishing availability depends greatly on season, targeted species, weather and expectations of the client. We will be open and honest about expectations, what's biting, whether the day will be comfortable (rough seas) and your best bet to CATCH FISH!
Most importantly, you are in charge of how much time you want to fish. Many clients prefer to target “what’s biting” (especially during grouper and snapper season!) for a few hours, then go sightseeing, shelling, swimming or island hop to various restaurants and watering holes.
